Aaron Kamauu MD MS MPH

Dr Aaron Kamauu (MD, MS Biomedical Informatics, MPH – University of Utah School of Medicine) is the President of Anolinx LLC where he leads innovation in leveraging healthcare data to support a variety of clinical research, informatics, clinical trials and drug development activities, including pharmacoepidemiology, outcomes research, protocol design, site identification and data-driven patient recruitment. Prior to Anolinx, Dr Kamauu was the Director of Healthcare Data Analytics at Clinical Methods, prior to that he was the Head of Healthcare Data Strategy at Roche Pharmaceuticals & Genentech Inc, and prior to that he worked for a software development company managing the underlying coding schemes for an outpatient electronic health record (EHR) system.

Dr. Kamauu is a member of leading medical societies where he has presented innovative research in radiology/imaging informatics, public health informatics, and clinical research informatics. Dr. Kamauu brings a unique combination of clinical, biomedical informatics, drug development and public health training and experience, resulting in the application of innovative biomedical informatics methodology to support projects based on individual patient care as well as population-based observations.

Greg Hopkins

Gregory L. Hopkins has been a senior executive in several enterprises for over 30 years. He served as Executive Vice President over Communications at EnergySolutions (NYSE symbol ES), a world-wide energy services company. Mr. Hopkins was responsible for the communications strategy leading to an IPO in 2007. He oversaw an internal and external communications team with offices throughout the US and the UK.

Greg has also been an advisor to many elected officials including Senator Robert Bennett, Governor Jon Huntsman and Governor Gary Herbert. Greg worked for several years on Capitol Hill for members of the U.S. House and Senate and as an appointee in the administration of President Bush 41.

Greg and his wife Kelli have four children and reside in Holladay, Utah.

John Baird

John Baird has served as legal counsel to large public and privately held corporations. He also practiced law as a senior and founding partner in the law firm of Corbridge, Baird & Christensen, where he focused on commercial litigation and corporate transactions.

In 2004, John served as corporate counsel for Headwaters Incorporated (NYSE:HW), a national provider of energy services to the U.S. electricity production industry. In 2005, he accepted the position of Vice President of Liquid Fuels for Headwaters Energy Services. As such, he headed the company’s initiatives for the commercialization of clean-coal and renewable fuel technologies.

John was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, has lived and worked overseas, and currently resides in Salt Lake City with his wife Nancy. He speaks fluent Spanish.

Robert F. Bennett

Mr. Bennett served as a United States Senator from the state of Utah from 1993 until 2011. He was a senior member of the Senate Banking Committee, member of the distinguished Joint Economic Committee, and a member of the Appropriations Committee. In that capacity he worked closely with the FDA and Pharma as Chairman the Agriculture Subcommittee, which has jurisdiction over FDA funding. He continues to stay active in health care issues as a Board member at the Bipartisan Policy Center, Chairman of the Critical Path Foundation, and as Chairman of Anolinx, a specialized CRO focused on epidemiological research and clinical trials recruitment.

Prior to his senate career, Mr. Bennett served as the CEO of Franklin Quest, Inc. (NYSE), where he grew the business from four employees to more than 1,000 and positioned the company for a successful IPO. He has also been a key participant in several other private and publicly held companies.

Bob is married to the former Joyce McKay and is the father of six children.

Adam Atkinson

Over the past 25 years, Adam has worked within a variety of industries including multiunit F&B, hospitality, retail and internet services. He brings experience in operational management, p&l, cash and inventory management, customer relations and sales management. He has been an independent equities and currency trader for several years with emphasis on technical analysis and macro economic events. Adam serves as an Advisor/Partner with Bennett Group International, a government relations and consulting firm founded by former U.S. Senator Robert F. Bennett.

Justin Spencer

Over the past 15 years, Justin has worked with health systems, universities, and healthcare technology companies to address key strategic issues related to operations and new market opportunities. He has consulted for some of the largest health systems in the U.S. For Catholic Health Initiatives, the second largest private not-for-profit system in the U.S., Justin serves as a consultant for Clinical Leadership Development. Justin also serves as a Strategic Advisor to The Bennett Group, a government relations and consulting firm founded by former U.S. Senator Robert F. Bennett.

Emily Dastrup MS

Emily Dastrup is a lead data analyst for Anolinx LLC. She leads and conducts statistical programming for projects involving a variety of large patient healthcare data sources. She also assists with drafting statistical analysis plans for research projects. Prior to working with Anolinx she was a clinical SAS programmer for the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) at the University of Utah. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Statistics from Brigham Young University.

Rebekah Paredes

Rebekah is primarily responsible for ensuring all projects stay on track within the defined timeline as well as oversees all milestones and deadlines are met. Other roles and responsibilities include: customer service with the sponsor, point of contact for research teams, managing scope to ensure focus is on the project objective and providing seamless communication between sponsors and research teams. Rebekah also manages Anolinx resources when needed.

Rebekah graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in Communications.  With her communication background, she has experience in facilitating professional workshops, seminars, and trainings to enhance the organization’s direction and vision. Rebekah also has experience in marketing, recruitment and event planning.

Steve Agbor

Steve Agbor graduated from Brigham Young University in 2004.  As a Double Major, he received Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Human Biology and Sociology.  Shortly thereafter he accepted the position of Hospital Supervisor of Salt Lake Regional Medical Center where he labored for two years before resigning to pursue a career in Medicine.  He attended Dartmouth Medical School from 2007-2011 before returning to Salt Lake City to work for Anolinx as the Clinical Research Team Lead.
